The Other Side of Through is a recollection of overcoming the damaging effects of physical and verbal abuse and the courage it took for me to ask for help. My story illuminates the transformative power of the three words “You Have Potential.” The book captures my unwavering determination to make good on words I never heard from my biological or foster parents.
The “Other Side of Through” is more than a story of where I am today. This memoir is a true testament to what can happen when troubled foster youth discover their potential and find the support to successfully transition to adulthood.
